Imagination Bay Adventure Play Rules of Play & Waiver

Rules of Play

• A signed waiver is required to play!
• Shoes are not permitted in the play area. All adults and children must wear socks when entering the soft play area. Socks are available for purchase. Shoes and socks must be removed when using the indoor sand area. Beach shoes can be worn if preferred. (available to purchase)
• No food and drinks are allowed in the play areas. Only food and drink purchased from Imagination Bay Adventure Play can be consumed on the premises.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for children and must remain on site at all times. Adult supervision is required at all times.
• All guests must sanitize their hands before entering the play area.
• Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/as Imagination Bay Adventure Play are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items. Prams, car seats and push chairs can be stored by the entrance on the ground floor at your own risk. The car park is also used at your own risk.
• Children should play in the play areas appropriate to their age.
• Imagination Bay Adventure Play has a ZERO Bullying policy. Any child or adult seen bullying or harassing others or staff or using inappropriate language will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.
• Care must be taken to supervise children when entering and exiting the premises and using the stairs and car park. These areas are communal areas and not the property of Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/as Imagination Bay Adventure Play. Please be courteous to other occupants of the building and keep noise levels to a minimum.
• All areas and equipment are used at own risk.
• Parents/guardians will be liable for the replacement/repair of any equipment purposefully damaged or damaged through lack of supervision.
• All bookings are non refundable.
• Disabled access is available prior arrangement however any equipment including stair lifts is used at your own risk.
• When booking a party the booking adult is responsible for ensuring parents/guardians of children attending are fully supervised, are aware of the rules of play and gain the parent/guardians agreement to sign this waiver on behalf of their child. A party waiver is to be signed on arrival.

WAIVER ON BEHALF OF THOSE UNDER 16 YEARS OLD

I am the parent/guardian of the child/ren listed below who is/are under 16 years of age. I consent to allow those child/ren to participate in activities organised by and equipment supplied by Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/As Imagination Bay Adventure Play.

I declare that if I am not the parent or guardian of the child/ren I have authority from the child/ren’s parent or guardian to sign this risk acknowledgement & waiver form.

I acknowledge the risk on their behalf. I confirm that I am responsible for the child/ren in my care and undertake to ensure that he/she/they undertake the Activities in accordance with the rules of play.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for the safety & supervision of the child/ren named below (and the safety of our possessions) and that Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/As Imagination Bay Adventure Play do not provide supervision of children whilst using the premises or if left unattended on the premises.

I acknowledge that the maximum permitted age for participation in the Activities is 12 years and confirm that the child/ren do/es not exceed this age.

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to assess the suitability of the Activities & the multiple age group use for children in my care. I am aware that some activities and equipment are age, height and or ability restricted and I will ensure that the child/ren in my care is/are advised accordingly.

I understand that Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/As Imagination Bay Adventure Play, do not assess the abilities of individual participants or the suitability of the Activities for use by individual participants. I further understand that all participants, parents and guardians must make their own assessment of whether the Activities are suitable for use by individual participants and individual participant’s ability to participate in the Activities prior to use.

I understand that the Activities and equipment are used by multiple age groups at the same time and are not restricted to any one age group.

I understand that the Activities are physically demanding and involves sand play and unpredictable surfaces. Some areas use light projection that may contain flashing lights.

I acknowledge that with some Activities there is a risk of personal injury when undertaking such Activities and participation can result in injury if misused.

I//he/she/they use the Activities and equipment entirely at my/their own risk.

I acknowledge that participation in the Activities and use of equipment can result in personal injury including, but not limited to, friction burns, cuts, abrasions, bruising, breaks, muscle strains, twists, sprains, and accept that these injuries can occur through general use of the equipment and not always or necessarily as a result of defective equipment or negligence of the Company.

I understand that I/he/she/they is/are responsible for my/his/her/their own actions and or involvement in using the Activities/equipment.

I understand that Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/As Imagination Bay Adventure Play do not provide direct supervision of participants when using the equipment and Activities. I understand that Bump and Beyond Health & Wellness Group Ltd T/As Imagination Bay Adventure Play do not provide training or tuition to participants in the use of the equipment/Activities.

In the unlikely event of an accident, or loss or damage to any personal effects, I acknowledge that the Company will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the Activities and I waive all and any claims against the Company in this respect.

I acknowledge and accept that CCTV images of all entrants will be monitored and recorded throughout the premises for the purposes of crime prevention and public safety.

I have read and fully understand the above and accept the terms of participation, freely and voluntarily without any inducement prior to signing/submitting this form.
